Patti began her career as a violinist in her home town of Flint, Michigan.

She majored in violin performance at Michigan State University and West Virginia University. She has a BFA in Violin Performance from the California Institute of the Arts (Cal -Arts). She studied under Romeo Tata, Donald Portnoy, Lyman Bodman and Nuomi Fisher.

Patti's professional career was a violinist in several different symphony orchestras including the West Virginia Symphonette, Ventura Symphony, Palm Springs Symphony and the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra. As well Patti has backed such artists as jazz vocalist Nancy Wilson, pianist Peter Nero and as the concert mistress for Wayne Newton in a special Concert of Love at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel showroom.

In 1991 Patti was asked to perform at a friends wedding in San Francisco and was asked if she play something gospel. After some thought Patti sought out the local Christian music store and found a pre-recorded soundtrack that she thought would be suitable for using as an accompaniment for the violin. She wrote out her own arrangement. The response was so great from those who heard her, that she soon felt God was leading her into a gospel ministry as a musicianary violinist.

Since then Patti has ministered in music in various denominations including The Salvation Army, Calvary Chapels, Evangelical Covenant, Friends Churches, Missionary Baptist, Presbyterian, Church of God in Christ and others throughout the United States, Canada and in Africa where she served as a missionary in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

The response to Patti's ministry has been wonderful with most churches and pastors asking if she could stay and join their congregations, so they would get to be blessed every Sunday with her anointed musical talent. At Pastor Andre Crouch's church, she received an enthusiastic standing ovation from both the pastor and his congregation, where Andre told everyone "that this girl can Really play the violin".

Patti is available to minister for special Christian events and churches.

Patti currently resides in sunny Palm Springs, California.

 Patti is a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). She is also a member of the Wesleyan Holiness / Women's Clergy.
